As United Methodists, we have a duty to bear witness to Jesus Christ. To fulfill this, we study our biblical and theological heritage, attempting to convey Jesus Christ in our own life.

We share a common heritage with all Christians and share the following basic beliefs in common with all Christian communities:

  1. God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons.
  2. We believe in salvation by faith through Jesus Christ.
  3. The church is an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.
  4. We believe that the Bible is God’s Word.
