As United Methodists, we have a duty to bear witness to Jesus Christ. To fulfill this, we study our biblical and theological heritage, attempting to convey Jesus Christ in our own life.
We share a common heritage with all Christians and share the following basic beliefs in common with all Christian communities:
- God, who is one, is revealed in three distinct persons.
- We believe in salvation by faith through Jesus Christ.
- The church is an extension of Christ’s life and ministry in the world today.
- We believe that the Bible is God’s Word.
